weekend getaway..

so this past weekend was something. on saturday, j.p. and i took a little trip to sactown to attend his cousin's wedding at "Blessed Sacrament Cathedral." and let me tell ya, that church has got to be one of the most beautiful catholic churches i ever been to. i would have pictures to share but still camera-less. anywho, you just had to be there to see it. as for the wedding, which was the most interesting part, i figured that it was my first time witnessing a traditional catholic wedding, which to my surprise, i dont ever recall attending one before. they did all these rituals during the last half of the mass; the veil, robe, virgin mary ritual/blessings. really beautiful the bride was (Abs), and happy for her and her husband Kris. BTW, these are the two that have been organizing the bomb poetry slams in Sac, so if you missed the last 2 slams, be sure to come to the next one! As for the reception, you guys should know, partying hard, well maybe light weight for me because of course, fambams are present, but still had a blast. The rest of the weekend: just chillax mode. Chillin with Ray especially was cool, knowing I hardly get to kick it with the guy nowadays. Ill continue this blog in a bit..work is calling me =*(
